Read ½ Humanitarians in Hostile Territory 106 Humanitarians in Hostile TerritoryWell I am a bit biased as this book was written by two of my professors at the University of Denver and includes a chapter on a fieldwork exercise they myself and a group of my DU classmates took part in during the summer of 2004 in Romania Having said that there is a great deal of useful practical information contained within the pages of Humanitarians for those who intend to pursue aid work particularly in dangerous areas Reading it I was reminded why I decided not to go down the aid worker path and stay in education after all My two friends from DU Amie and Evan are pictured on the cover
